Eau Capitale pays homage to Paris, the French capital and birthplace of diptyque. Only chypre came to mind for diptyque - only a legendary chord with a hundred facets can pay tribute to the city of a hundred faces. A bouquet of roses on the verge of excess follows the freshness of bergamot spiced with pink pepper berries. In place of oakmoss, the perfumer uses patchouli, a patchouli "coeur" - which makes the scent appear lighter than a traditional patchouli. An Eiffel Tower, roses, a sinuous calligraphy, a peacock doing a cartwheel, volutes, interweavings... To illustrate Eau Capitale, diptyque and Pierre Marie drew inspiration from the architectural codes of Paris and the legendary Art Nouveau monuments.
