I ESCAPE IN THE NOW AND I COMPOSE THE NEW.
I OBSERVE AND I WANDER.
THE FUTURE SOMEWHERE BEHIND ME
WHILE
ROMANTICISM IS CLASHING WITH THE SMELL OF THE UNKNOWN.
"flâneur", the new fragrance from 27 87, celebrates a lost world of ideas: we find the extraordinary in the ordinary, in the supposedly unspectacular. In a world characterized by speed and sensation, founder Romy invites you to discover a world beyond superlatives and ambitions, and to seek inspiration in the grace of the everyday.
EXOTIC HINTS WITH NO HONEST DESTINATION
GUIDE ME THROUGH THE DAY.
I READ MEMORIES IN THE STREETS OF SPECTACULAR MONOTONY
WHERE FACTS AND FANTASIES CO-EXIST.
Imagine wandering aimlessly while discovering the beauty of the everyday. With this imagination in mind, Romy wanted to create a modern and visionary fragrance, in line with the current zeitgeist, with a touch of melancholy. A green and latently bitter note of absinthe contrasts with the warmth of cashmere wood and linden and almond blossoms. Combined with fresh bergamot and elegant cedarwood on a base of star anise, dry ambergris and vetiver, this results in a romantic and subtle fragrance that celebrates both the feeling of down-to-earthness and the exoticism of everyday moments.

Go line: “flâneur” is the second fragrance of the Go line; a line of perfumes that aims to inspire discovery and travel, embodying the longing for exploration and faraway places.

story
The present: During the first corona lockdown, it was forbidden to go for a walk outside in Barcelona for three months. Any social or physical activity had to be reduced to an absolute minimum. One of the greatest everyday things that Romy sorely missed - just like probably everyone else - was as unspectacular as it was impossible: to go for a walk. Strolling around without a destination or time pressure, enjoying nature and architecture, observing the surroundings and wandering around daydreaming.
The traditional flaneur: Flâneur is a traditional concept of the wealthy French bourgeoisie, and commonly denotes a figure who roams (saunters) through the streets and passages of anonymous big cities. Often depicted in contemporary literature and graphics as a man in tails with a top hat, walking stick and pipe, the flâneur strolls through the countryside, lets himself be carried along and swims with the current. His gift is the observation and intellectual reflection of even the smallest things and events. He looks at the world in general and the life around him in particular. If you transfer this view of things to our present, you will find that the flaneur of 27 87 represents much more than a single person, but rather offers a unique view of the world by sensitively opening up to everyday life and thus perceiving details and gaps that were thought to be lost with his trained eye and capturing them with all his senses.
Absinthe: Open-minded even for the exotic in Barcelona, Romy discovered a seemingly unspectacular bar in the “Raval” district while strolling. As she entered, she discovered a new and authentic facet of her city. Not only did she find Barcelona's oldest bar, but also an absinthe bar that frequented the who's who of the 20th century art world. Unchanged in its place since 1820, world-famous artists such as Ernest Hemingway, Salvador Dali or Pablo Picasso were guests in this bar and were inspired. Absinthe is known to be the favorite bohemian drink and was not classified as a health hazard in the last century because of its high thujone content, but was also banned almost everywhere in the world. Spain is one of the few countries where absinthe can be enjoyed continuously to this day, and the bar discovered by Romy in Barcelona is the oldest absinthe bar in the world. As a homage, she therefore made this unusual scent the focus of her latest fragrance "flâneur".
Almond and Lime Blossoms: When Romy was finally able to stroll through the streets again after the first lockdown in Barcelona, she herself enjoyed unspectacular details and simple everyday things. Appreciating what otherwise seemed so obvious, she suddenly found herself surrounded by a thriving city with fresh air and the intense presence of nature. The almond trees were in bloom, and the linden blossoms were in full bloom, too, and these two notes inspired her to create her next fragrance.
info
The flacons follow clean, minimalist lines that are a canvas—not a competitor—to their contents. Instead of the traditional 100ml or 50ml bottles, there are 27 87 fragrances in the eponymous 27ml and 87ml bottles.

return
You have 14 days to decide if it's love at first sight. ❤️
A small but important note: For us, the day of delivery counts as the start of the 14-day period – and that means that your return must be back in our store within these two weeks, not simply sent on its way.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your understanding and support. Every decision, every item you keep and don't return, helps to make our little world here in the heart of the old town a bit more beautiful and joyful.
Not all adventures can be undone: socks that have danced across the living room, panties that have enjoyed their freedom, earrings that have seen the world, and cosmetic products that have already been opened – unfortunately, we can't take these back. These small limits help us guarantee the quality and hygiene of our products for everyone.
Many people aren't aware that we're actually a small, family-run concept store in the heart of Rosenheim's old town. :) We're now in our third generation with me, Emily, and we only have a handful of employees. We put a lot of love and passion into our buying, merchandising, social media channels, online shop, and events.
This is important to know because we have very different terms with DHL than large online shops. And of course, our budgets are also very different. Nevertheless, we always cover the packaging costs and the initial shipping for orders over €150. Unfortunately, we can't also cover the return postage. Customers pay for that themselves if necessary. Unlike other small online shops, however, you don't have to pay anything for the initial shipping with us.
However, we try on every shoe and every item of clothing, and our sizing is quite accurate to help you in this regard and prevent returns altogether.
I hope you can understand this to some extent… ❤️
Procedure
- Check if the items you wish to return are eligible for return or are hygiene products (underwear, socks, earrings, opened cosmetics/perfumes).
- Place the (unworn) items to be returned, along with the "delivery and return slip" that we sent you, into the outer carton.
- Please use an outer box so that the shoebox remains undamaged.
- Please remember that the return must arrive back at our store within 14 days.
- Feel free to drop by in person or send the return back to our store – preferably insured.
