INFO

The Palm of Feronia abalone shell is a traditional vessel used to burn Native American herbs and incense. The shell is great for leaning incense sticks against while they burn, and if you add sand or soil you can use it to extinguish the incense sticks afterwards. Loose herbs or the broken ends of incense sticks can also be placed in the bowl to be burned, again with or without sand or soil.

SUSTAINABILITY

Palm of Feronia sources abalone shells from South Africa and Mexico, where they are a by-product of the food industry and would otherwise be discarded. They are not caught in the wild so the supply is sustainable and no natural habitat or wild abalone are destroyed.
