Pura Lopez's legacy dates back to 1956, to the roots of the Spanish footwear industry, when Antonio López Moréno founded the original company. Towards the end of the 80's his daughter and designer Pura Lopez joined the family business and launched a collection that bears her name. Today, the second generation of the family is running the company. Under Pura Lopez, the label got more glamor and more sex appeal. The label is aimed at women who like to wear heels every day or are looking for shoes for events. Since each shoe is padded with 0.3 mm foam, wearing comfort is also ensured for everyday wear.
