Escentric 04, like Molecule 04, contains a high concentration of the molecule javanol.

Javanol is a sandalwood-like molecule that retains the radiance and staying power of natural sandalwood, but is translucent and transparent like no sandalwood in nature.

Escentric 04 focuses on javanol in a formula that brings out the grapefruit accent in the molecule. The result is a uniquely fresh take on a sandalwood fragrance that blossoms with crisp, bitter top notes of pink grapefruit peel and added lime zest. Juniper and pink pepper add an extra kick of freshness, and marijuana brings out the softer quality of the grapefruit seed.

The heart note is Orris with a 'fresh, soft rose' composed of four different rose components. The drydown is balsamic and woody with javanol combined with the slightly sweeter sandalwood molecule, polysantol.

"In the other Escentric fragrances, I used a large amount of the molecule," says Geza Schoen. "But Javanol is like truffles. A few slices of truffle shaved onto your pasta is enough to take you to heaven."

Consequently, Javanol and Polysantol together make up 15% of Escentric 04.

Escentric 04 belongs to the Series 04 from Escentric Molecules. The Escentric is always the variation that is less minimalistic.
