Birkenstock

The traditional German company was founded in 1896 by Konrad Birkenstock, but its roots go back to 1774. While it was initially for the health benefits of the comfortable soles of the shoes, today they are also worn in a casual street style. Birkenstock undertakes and all of its business partners to adhere to the self-imposed Code of Conduct. In addition to environmental protection, this also deals with fair wages, discrimination and human rights.
