With an emphasis on beauty and fantasy, Bal d'Afrique is Ben Gorham's "love letter" to Africa. It celebrates the reach and influence of Africa over time, particularly the ways its myriad cultures have shaped dance, art and music. The hand creams combine the fragrance notes of BYREDO with a light yet nourishing texture that gently moisturizes and softens hands while giving them a heavenly scent that lingers all day long.

Byredo is a European luxury brand founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham with the ambition to translate memories and emotions into products and experiences.
The brand reinvents the world of luxury through a new approach in which creation is guided by emotions, expressing a complete and limitless brand world.
She designs objects using the highest quality materials available and high-end design details to create a new approach to modern luxury.
Byredo creates and develops a range of products such as perfume, home, leather goods and accessories and is sold in more than 40 countries in a very high quality exclusive network worldwide.
They believe that through creativity they are able to create timeless products that are both meaningful and inspiring to people and their lives.
Born in Sweden to an Indian mother and Canadian father, Ben grew up in Toronto, New York and Stockholm. He graduated from Stockholm Art School with a degree in Fine Arts, but a chance encounter with perfumer Pierre Wulff convinced him that he wanted to create fragrances rather than paintings. With no formal training in the field, Gorham, aged 31, sought the services of world-renowned perfumers Olivia Giacobetti and Jerome Epinette, explaining his olfactory desires to them and letting them create the compositions. As an outsider in the beauty industry, Ben is something of an anomaly and has been featured in several international magazines such as French Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, V Magazine and Fantastic Man to name a few for his personal style and connection to fashion and art , accepted.
